I spent Saturday night at Boston City Lights at the Franklin Park zoo with Little. It was so neat and beautiful despite the rain!
We started at Pizzaria Regina’s where we chatted about her new school where she’s in eighth grade and the bland macaroni and cheese at the restaurant. We discussed the weather and decided together that unless it poured, we were gonna move forward with the outdoor part of our outing.
On the drive to the zoo, Little sneezed.
“Bless you!” I said, adding “are you allergic to me?”
“No. Never.”
My favorite photo is of her at the Franklin Park Zoo event with the Egyptian vase lantern. She told me, “I’m gonna hold the handles and pretend to drink out of it!” made the attempt, then laughed “I can’t even reach the handles!”
There’s a video at the bottom recapping the outing and I love it because I caught some of her bight nature and humor.
