Little came over for Halloween cupcake baking. She’s only eleven so she’s not vaccinated yet. Windows were opened. We wore masks. We played around with coloring the paler park of the marble cake and the green came out nicely! Then we dyed some of the white frosting, which came out less like orange and more like the tone of human skin. Ew.
She brought up a picture online of cupcakes decorated like mummies, so we did that to some of them! I played Halloween music on the speaker, and when Michale Jackson’s Thriller came on, she said “This is a TikTok song!”
And I giggled to myself.
