Tree Climbing!

Keeping with what has basically become a late summer tradition, I went this past weekend to visit Meg and her family in western MA.

Meg and I decided that for my Fiftieth First with her (actually, she turned fifty only a few weeks after me!) was to visit to the Aerial Adventure Park at Catamount Mountain! I am afraid of heights so I was nervous about this one, but once I got started, I was more focused on keeping my balance through the obstacle course than focusing on the height.

I’ve never ziplined before and hopping off the platform and trusting the line would hold me was the hardest part, but Meg was a great hype friend and I loved it once I actually did it. It was so fun!

I jammed my ankle with my graceless landing on the zipline at the end of the first course. I was disappointed to not go on another course, but I’m older and wiser now and know better than to push my body, so we called it.

I reall loved the challenge though and I’m happy I did it, especially with Meg!

And here are some pics!
